At a least minute opportunity provided by the Lincoln Elementary School PTO, Simply a Mom Wheaton was born. The PTO traditionally holds a children's clothing / toy resale in the fall and spring each year. Usually there are items that don't sell. Simply a Mom was offered the chance to collect these items and deliver them to a local charity.
While there, Heather and I displayed information about Simply A Mom in hopes to establish a Wheaton chapter that could build on this PTO event. Luckily for us, Vicki Coffey, Rowena Hansen and Marissa Sabio were excited about the possibilities that a Wheaton Simply a Mom chapter could offer their local community.
