Do all of items I donate go to the shelters?

Our goal is that 100% of the items go directly to the selected shelters.
In some cases storage space is at a premium. We would divert any
overflow items to a secondary location that these shelters pull from.

Why do the shelters need purchased items?

These shelters go through everyday household staples just like you and
I, but they are supporting many families. If your budget allows you to
provide them, please do so.

Are these donations tax deductible?

All of the organizations that we are currently helping are not for
profit. A Tax Credit Form will be left for you when your donations are
picked up.

Why did Simplyamom choose these organizations?

We felt that Neighbors helping Neighbors gave us the responsibility to
look out our backdoor and help people in our community. This does not
mean that this is where we have to stop. If you know of other shelters
or centers that are in our neighborhood please email us to consider them in future projects.

What time do I put my donations out?

We are planning to do all of the pickups in one day. Please have your
contributions on your front stoop by 8:00 am. You do not have to be
home for the pickup.

Can I volunteer to help?

We would love your help. Please email us if you would like to donate some time to help and we will give you call.

Do I have to put a donation tag on every bag I donate?

We would like you to identify each bag and the shelter you would like to
donate it to. It would help us distribute your contributions correctly
if all bags are marked.

Can I split my donations to multiple shelters?

You are welcome to donate to all the shelters. Please bag each
separating and attach the donation tag that applies.

Can I make Financial Donations?

All of the selected shelters would of course except financial donations. Please make checks payable to the shelter of your choice and we can forward it on your behalf.
